Bascom Hunter supplies the defense market with class-leading advanced electronics for applications in artificial intelligence (AI), signal intelligence, resilient communications, and signal processing. Our Defense Electronics Group provides highly customized solutions expertly designed for the challenges facing our warfighters. Product lines include Advanced Systems, RF Front Ends, Mixed Signal Products and Digital Products.

Our Advanced Systems product line brings together our expertise from multiple domains along with our many teaming partners to provide solutions in SATCOM, RADAR, Test Platforms and ISR.

Our RF Front End product line delivers tightly integrated, high spec products which are ruggedized for defense applications. We focus on complex functionality and challenging requirements, including broadband and low phase noise requirements. Our RF Front End product line also provides Microwave Photonic devices such as Microwave Photonic Cancellers and Filters.

The Mixed Signal product line is currently focused on VPX based solutions – especially those that require both digital and analog or photonic interfaces. Our VPX Cards include third-party VPX cards with Bascom Hunter firmware, custom VPX cards and support electronics such as Mezzanine cards to provide additional functionality to VPX users. Our VPX Chassis offerings include custom built chassis and custom backplanes.

Bascom Hunter’s digital product line is currently focused on Neuromorphic Processors. We integrate third-party neuromorphic processors into custom cards (including VPX cards) and deploy custom or customer algorithms onto neuromorphic processors. Bascom Hunter also works closely with Princeton University’s Lightwave Lab to bring cutting edge neuromorphic photonics to the warfighter.
