RF Systems

We provide customers with integrated software and hardware to deliver advanced technology to our warfighters. The RF System product line includes custom software and purpose-built user interfaces to simplify system operation and interface with in-house and 3rd party RF Components. Available Systems include Test and Development Environments and Satellite Communication Terminals. BH Tech aligns with our customers’ vision of Digital Intermediate Frequency Interoperability (DIFI) and are members of the DIFI Consortium developing IEEE 4900. We also align with our customers’ vision of interoperability and modularity, complying with SOSA and HOST standards and leveraging VPX form factors where practical.

VPX Chassis

Bascom Hunter provides custom VPX Chassis with integrated power, chassis management and cooling systems. Our VPX Chassis provides up to 14x 3U VPX card capacity in a 3U 19” Rackmount enclosure. Bascom Hunter can work with you to spec out a VPX Backplane. Customer supplied VPX backplanes can also be used when following the chassis Interface Control Document (ICD).
Test and Development Platforms

Bascom Hunter’s most recent addition to its portfolio is our multichannel signal processor product. It provides the flexibility to tune to and extract individual carriers within 600 MHz to 6 GHz band. It then performs adjacent channel filtering, sets the gain and phase of the signal, modulate and output on the same, or any other, carrier frequency.

Bascom Hunter has produced integrated Radar systems including antenna, control, RF circuits and digital processing. One example of this is the M-Star radar for which Bascom Hunter designed and built the RF Front End and provided the integration of the Antenna and RF elements.
